A big thank you to Kmart, the judges and the people who voted for my entries to Part III of the Money Can't Buy Style challenge! I received the news that I am one of the finalists right after I posted my entries to Part IV, and so as not to make them go to waste I'm sharing my outfit entries here. Weekend Workout

Photoshop skill workout, that is! I barely got out of the house despite the beautiful weather outside because I was on a roll regarding my threadless submissions and I was able to watch some shows at the same time (I just finished all the episodes of Futurama, and am almost done with watching The IT Crowd, both of which are hilarious!) thru my tablet. So all in all, a pretty productive weekend for me :) Here are the things I submitted, I hope they'll all get through!

1. This one is for a bike-themed contest :) I was portraying the environment-friendly aspect of using bikes as opposed to cars. Those flowers took a while to finish, as did the bike, but I think it worked out pretty well.

I'm pretty proud of these flowers, they were hard to make without Illustrator

LEGO HappyHoliplay Contest

I remember building rockets, spaceships, planes, cars and houses out of those small, colorful blocks with my older brother when we were kids, and being sad when I had to destroy them to make new things. Fine, LEGO blocks make me nostalgic! I'll cut to the chase before I get all weepy about how much I miss being a kid: LEGO is holding a contest and it's so easy to join. Simply build one of their Christmas-related items (using LEGO of course) and take a photo of the said item, remembering to relate the picture to what the item is. Good gosh, that took a while to type, so just head on the link below because I think my sinus problem is blocking my brain's capacity to work properly:
